I must be missing something really, really basic about this method of making money from a blog!

I've been getting anything between 500 and 2000 hits per day on my blog but on some days I was earning as little as 5p from Adwords. With a minimum pay-out of £60 I soon realised that I could be waiting years before seeing any money.

Have any Mumsnet bloggers got some positive experiences to share?

We had a lovely holiday in Church Stretton about forty years ago! Had delicious bread from local bakers, but presumably not the same one currently on ITV Britain's Best Bakery.

I never understand how 'ordinary' people think the whole world wants to read their 'blog'; I can't even be bothered to read any on MN.

To make any money I guess it will have to be more-or-less illegal, or very outrageous at least.
