DD says she looks "ugly in all photographs"

DD said this to me at bedtime, she's only five Sad . I have no idea where it's come from as I tell her daily that she's beautiful inside and out. I thought she had quite high self esteem but I'm worried it's the first sign of a bigger problem.

Am I over reacting? I have pretty major anxiety ishoos so it's likely.

Any mumsnetters kind enough to give me any advice on how to deal with further comments like this?

Instantly I go to she must be being bullied. My 5year neices there twins, had recently been prescribed glasses and they were over excited at first but after the first day of school in them they refuse to wear them. I asked there older cousin what they thought. And they were indeed being bullied.
So if I was you I would first tell her she's beautiful. Ask if someone is being mean to her. And then do little things to help promote confidence, maybe take her shopping, a new haircut? May e even proffesional photoshoot.
