i have a blog for my jewellery making. do i just link here and thats that?

If you've joined the network, filled in your profile and stuck a badge on your blog... then, yes, that's the minimum you need to do.

Some bloggers also stick their new blog post links on the weekly thread. And you can read other bloggers' articles and comment on them, etc.

Depends how interactive you wish to be.
