Would you eat this?

I made slow cooked beef casserole yesterday and mashed potato. There was loads left over, so I put it into tubs last night, planning to freeze it, but forgot to actually put it in the freezer! It sat out all night on the counter until 7am, when I put it in the fridge while I decide what to do with it.

What would you do? Bin it, eat it pronto, freeze it?

Honestly? Depends how cold your house is. Our kitchen isn't heated so I don't immediately panic about leaving things out.

LucyLasticKnickers · 23/12/2013 13:45

if you heat it up and boil it i reckon it should be fine

stella69x · 23/12/2013 14:31

Freeze it and carry on as normal. My leftovers to be frozen quite often sit out overnight as they are not properly cold before I want to go to bed, so I freeze them when I get up in the morning. My DC's & I are still here to tell the tale!

Thanks for your reassurance!

We've no heating in our kitchen so it gets cold over night - I'd eat it
