Moving to tamworth/ Lichfield area

Hi
Can anyone help
I'm tho king about moving my family ( twins boy and girl of 9) in 2015, can anyone plz tell me what the areas are like and secondary schools, we're quite sociable so need to be near a town etc
Any help on any areas would be of great use ;)

Well- Lichfield is much nicer than Tamworth and of the two I would jump for Lichfield.

Very nice Cathedral city with good school and reasonable priced housing. Also has a direct cross city train line to Bham.

King Edwards School has a very good reputation
