Hi I am a 57 year old . Would love to be a granny . Any needy grandchildren would like to adopt me . I live in halifax West Yorkshire . Very much looking forward to a reply . X

How come you want to be a granny?

Due to the nature of the internet, I'm afraid you'd have to provide much more information about yourself, Angegran, and possibly get some 'known' members to vouch for you. Two posts, stating the same thing, does not a potential granny make. This is a nervous era! :(

Taking your message at face value, I'm sorry that you are lonely and hope that some of your neighbours will welcome you to share in the festivities this Christmas. If you're willing to contact your local church, I'm sure the pastor can direct you to local young families who would really appreciate some grandmotherly support. In time, that could become true friendships for you and you could finally have some 'adopted' children and grandchildren. ;)
