I have made a claim for my mobile as I dropped it and the screen is smashed. the insurance company want a proof of purchase, which I don't have. it is a contract phone so I didn't actually pay for the phone iyswim.

so what can I do without the proof?.

all you need to do is ask your airtime provider for a document to confirm the handset they gave you, think of it more of a proof of ownership rather that popurchase HTH

oh and make sure it states the make and model and IMEI number and make sure its on letter headed paper from them or in an official email
