Hi, my latest post is about being authentic by acknowledging and sharing when we're not ok. Being divorced and a single parent is hard. When you're used to being strong and positive, it's very hard to admit that.

Had a bit of a breakthrough last week about it Smile

Quite an ambitious post from me, and I have to say I'm rather proud of it:

The chat thread question 'What's the hardest thing about being a mum' made me think. Being a mum of traumatised children puts a different spin on things

Great sentimental gifts for expectant mothers or new mothers which can eventually be passed onto the child.

I'm brand new to Mumsnet.... glad to have found you tho. I have been very quiet for a long time and recently, blogging has given me a voice. My blog is at agypsieswife.wordpress.com and I tweet as @agypsyswife . I am a Gypsyman's wife and Gorja woman of a certain age..... I speak only for myself and about my own life, past and present. Have a read if you get time.... it's good to share, at last.

Parenting comes in all shapes and forms and I was lucky enough to have love from two sets. This happened in days when you could ask someone else to take on your child without reference to the authorities.... quite topical at the moment. Here's an experience that coloured my life. agypsieswife.wordpress.com/2013/10/21

Hi, I'm Katie and new to mumsnet bloggers and indeed blogging. My latest post Grace: A mother's love is all about my (and I'm sure most other mum's) hopes & dreams for my son, as inspired by my own lovely mum.

My latest post is an advice piece on travelling long haul with a baby. Hope this helps some people!

This week (4th-11th November) is National Adoption Week

I have my first NAW 2013 post up, and this one is for everyone who has ever considered, or might consider adopting. It's also for people who haven't considered it, or know already that it's not for them - because I've done a bit of myth busting and I think it's important that people don't accidently perpetuate myths without meaning too

National Adoption Week - Children Need You

If anyone has any question about adoption, whether you are considering it, or even if you aren't considering adopting but do want to know something about it because you're interested in a general way - PM me, comment on the blog post, email me (my emails in the post), hope I can help. I'm determined to do some 'adoption exposure' on MN this week Grin

Hear than MNHQ? - National Adoption Week! Make a mention!
