Welcome aboard! I've 'met' some lovely bloggers from here and because we're all blogging away, you get some fab support on twitter too, not to mention being introduced to some brilliant and inspiring writing on so many different topics.

Thank you! It's been a bit of a strain trying to pull together all those photos over the last 24 hours (my 'Ed Balls' picture folder is bulging at the seams, and I have created a galaxy of subfolders within it, with names such as 'Ed Balls photos they photoshopped me out of' ). At least I won't need to worry about doing that again...

Nice to see a new blog, I'll have a look later when I get to sit down with a cup of tea. I'll also be checking out the politicians having sex blog and the one with the words.

I've been away from my blog for most of the summer due to a surfeit of teenagers and toddlers in the house. I also haven't had a chance to read many blogs due to said surfeit.

I blog about being a mum to teenagers and a toddler (but the teenagers mostly cos they're the hardest work) at mumtoteens

And, hello borninastorm... I totally agree with what you say about the demonisation of teenagers... I witnessed two boys being told off for cycling in a park the other day. They'd 'ruin the grass' said the busybody.... it was clearly power-play and nothing more... the park is regularly used for car-boot sales... so well-used to being driven on!

Gosh, your blog is brave, Sulomater! I read your 'dating my neighbour' post and I'm a wee bit speechless. You have a good writing style and I liked how you bookended your anecdote.

Thanks for reading and for your positive comments. Occasionally I lose confidence and block the whole lot, making the settings 'private' as it is so very exposing. But then I remind myself that it is anonymous for a reason ... So I need to retain the courage of my convictions. Your blog sounds lovely! I crocheted as a kid but not since, although I love that there has been a resurgence in these crafts.
