Window locks?

Hi

I'm looking to buy some window locks for around the home. I don't want them to be too bulky, and would like them to blend in nicely with the window frame.

I've been looking around and have noticed a lot of other parents recommend Jackloc. I've seen a few of these in hotel rooms abroad and was wondering if anyone has had any past experience with these products? Installation, safety?
