Blogger wanted for a family cruise holiday

Fancy a rather fabulous cruise?

We've got an invite for one lucky blogger and their family (up to 4 people) to climb aboard P&O's family-friendly ship Ventura and sail the seas from Southampton to Barcelona. The trip is for 5 nights from October 11 to October 16. You'll share a deluxe balcony cabin, and will be able to enjoy a wide range of experiences on the ship - including The Reef children's club, entertainment, specialty dining restaurants and spa facilities. Full board accommodation is included as well as flights back to the UK.

Sound attractive? Then post a link to your blog on the thread below - though do bear in mind that this is a term-time trip so might suit preschoolers best, and also that, sadly, it's not suitable for babies under 6 months. You'll need to write a post on your blog about the cruise on your return, and also a Mumsnet Review.

Oh yes please we are based in Southampton and regularly watch the ships go out on a Friday. I never thought they would be suitable for my 3.5yr and 9 month old before so have never looked into it. This would be a fab eye opener! I blog at mummytoboyz.blogspot.co.uk

Oh yes. As a solo parent with a toddler I'd be very up for reviewing holidays for families from a different perspective. And would gladly make up the numbers with my lovely single friend and her toddler too. Our children are both girls of two-and-a-half, and nearly three, respectively. I'm an NCTJ trained former journalist, if that helps...

Looking at the dates, I'd be a solo parent but could travel with three generations, i.e. grandparent, parent, DS.

This sounds absolutely amazing! Our family has never been on a cruise but it's definitely on our to-do list. Mum, dad, little girl (currently 3 1/2) and hopefully another one by then would love to come aboard and take part in all the activities. We are outgoing and love to experience new things.

We love Spain and the culture and are in desperate need of a family holiday as won't have one in 2013.
