Friend lets me down

Long story sorry
I've just had my 40th birthday party which I brought forward a week as my friend was getting married on my bday , my pal said yes to attending my party as its her 3rd wedding a fairly quiet do and my do was going to act as her hen nite we go back 20 odd yrs she never turned up to my party ! No notice text fb message anything ! I messaged her just saying hope yr ok sorry u missed my do and look forward to her wedding and guess what ....no reply ??? Wtf ?? I know she's seen the message as fb shows this . I've only ever been a good friend to this person really hurt xxx any advice greatly appreciated xx

i would try calling your friend and talking to her, or meet up face to face to try and see what is going on. if she still ignores you and chooses not to reply, then i would try and move on.
i know that sounds harsh but there is no need for you to be getting upset when you have done nothing wrong. if your friend can not take 5 mins out of her time just to send a message, even if its just a simple hi, then its time to forget her.
who knows, a few days, weeks, months down the line you may be back to the way you were, after all you have been friends for so long now, maaybe its just a misunderstanding?
there is only so much you can do, the rest will be up to her

remember, dont waste time with people who have no time for you :-)
