Here is what was said -

Katie Price has given birth to a baby boy, who was born eight weeks premature weighing just 5lb 2oz.

Jett Riviera was delivered by emergency caesarian at a hospital abroad after Katie, 35, developed a potentially life-threatening infection.

The baby’s heart rate fell dangerously low.

She said: “I went through a nightmare. The baby’s heart rate was also really low. The next thing I know the nurse is in my room saying get ready now.”

Katie was forced to give birth last week without husband Kieran Hayler, 26, because he was not allowed in the operating theatre.

She was allowed to give Jett a quick kiss before he was whisked to a special care unit.

Last night it was confirmed that little Jett is “doing well” in hospital.

Katie has three other children, Harvey, 11, Junior, eight, and Princess, six.

She spends her days at hospital with Jett and her evenings at a villa nearby.

When did she have him? I would have thought she would be in hospital for ages after having an infection and a section. Seems so soon to be doing all that running about as well.

He wasn't a bad weight considering how early he was. My Ds was born 2 1/2 weeks early and was only 5 lbs 11. I like the name Jett. Not sure about Riviera tho. Sounds a bit like when you make your pornstar/romance novelist names.

Not sure about the name, I suppose it's more tame than "princess"

I've heard some people say they tend to have big babies and others have smaller ones. Both my kids were full term and relatively small. It's possible her babies tend towards the larger side and so that birth weight is in line with the eventual full-term weight.

There's been a lot if gossip flying around that the baby isn't her husband's, and she recruited him for publicity (and a nice chunk of money and fame for him) and predicted an "early" birth. Over 5lb at 32 weeks is rather unusual. Some are saying she planned to give birth in Spain to avoid questions about the baby's gestation.

Apparently she announced the pregnancy in February? Well, if she was due mid-October then she would have conceived in January

There is something extremely chinny reckon about this latest pregnancy. I can't put my finger on it but I feel things may not be what they seem.

If conceived in jan and announced in feb she would have only been 4-6 weeks when announced, now we all know Katie doesn't announce before the 12 week mark because of her past mc history.

Betsy both my boys were prem. One 6 weeks early weighing 5lbs and one 8 weeks early also weighing 5lbs so weight perfectly reasonable. Not a fan of Katie but wish her best of luck as having a prem baby is an awful and extremely stressful experience.

Definitely iffy. She has kept the bump hidden the whole pregnancy which is unlike her. Maybe she hasn't been pregnant and used a Spanish surrogate or something
