What do you think of maternity rights in the UK?
Are they fair?
Is it right to take a job without telling the employer you are pregnant?

I should have posted lots more than I have this month, with various baking challenges completed. But the world will have to manage without photos of my supertough choux pastry and doughy fruit bread.

Here's the one baking challenge I successfulyl overcame; [[http://www.scrumptioussally.com/2013/07/maple-walnut-scones.html
maple and walnut scones]].

artifarti I love your blog! I accidentally came across it when you first started up and was instantly drawn in by the cheese-based punnery.

Everyone - you need to read @Artifarti's post - don't be fooled into thinking it's just a recipe post. I nearly wet myself reading it Grin

This week, the boy and I had some fun making shiny things with air-drying clay - including glow-in-the-dark fish and metallic thumb pots.

Richard and Jane lost 5 children in a week! This was reported on a grave dated 1846 but just imagine what it must have been like.

Hello all,
The Gym Or The Golf Course? Confused

thelastslayer · 02/08/2013 21:31

I've reviewed Nameless: A Tale of Beauty and Madness by Lili St Crow. It is AWESOME and I really recommend it. It's a dark and very atmospheric reimagining of the classic fairytale of Snow White but set in an alternate version of the World and without ever mentioning the words Snow White.

We have just updated our blog on our adventures as "grave hunters" with an entry called "A Teddy Bear and Two Gangsters".
