Best toys

Hi all

       Complete apologies if I'm on the wrong forum but can't find a toys section,

Can anyone give me ideas on the best toys for newborns that will keep my baby entertained, I have a play matt with lights and music but wanted a couple of other stuff

Look forward to your response, links welcomed

Now that your newborn is probably at least 3 or 4 months old, I'm thinking you're ready for rattles, teething rings, and toys that are safe to grasp and shake. The floor mat with the flexi rods that have little toys that overhang are probably the best for awhile yet until your baby becomes totally mobile. Oh, and as always - you are the best toy by far.
