How do you add those little pics to your status?

You know the little wine glass/sun etc

You can't see them on safari they just come up as little empty boxes so thinking it must be through the app?

I think it's through the emoji keyboard on iPhone, that's how I add little emoticons.

Do you have an iPhone? If so there's an extra keyboard you can turn on with lots if little emoticons.

Go to settings/general/keyboard then click keyboards and select emoji. Under your keyboard when you type messages/posts there'll be a globe sign where you will loads of emoticons.

Is there something like that for Android do you know?

Try downloading SwiftKey, that has emojis that you can use
