Is it ok to wear a black dress to a summer day wedding?

My sister gets married in a month and I was wondering if it would be ok to wear a black dress to the wedding? The dress is from debenhams, it's Jenny packham, black mesh prom with white daisies on it, it's lovely but I'm worried u shouldn't wear black, what do other people think? The dress is still on the website I was going to wear with silver high heel sandals

Unless it's 25 or higher, go for it. Otherwise you'll melt.

Black is always iffy. It's unlikely anyone would say anything to your face, but it is widely disliked and considered inappropriate.

There's a lot of colour in the shops right now. Is there really nothing else you like?
