Me and my dd are going to stay with a relative for a week (she lives overseas). The problem is she is incredibly tight. We treat her two dd's all the time when they come over here. Sleepovers, meals out, nice presents when its b'day time. She will not put her hand in her pocket. At Xmas time for dd she gave a box with 1 chocolate in it. I am very fond of her dd's and my dd is very close to them. Which is why I am going. I am worried that she will expect me to pay for everything out there and I will end up snapping and spoiling the holiday. How can I get a sense of humour about the whole thing?

Think how much a hotel would be to stay in - that is what you can pay for as she is providing accomodation
