Wedding invite without DHs name

larlemucker · 30/05/2013 11:26

I've just received a wedding invite from an old school friend. My DH and DSs names aren't on the invite it just says 'larlemucker'.

Does this mean they're not invited?

I would assume it is only you who is invited, unless it mentions another name or a +1.

Thanks hulababy that's what I thought. DH will be pleased as he hates weddings!!

I'd also assume it is just for you.

I'd check.

Does she know your DH and children? If so, its just for you. If she doesn't, you could politely check by saying e.g. you'd love to come either way. Have to say one of the best weddings I went too was when I went without my long-term boyfriend (now husband) to one of my uni friend's weddings. Had a fabulous time with all my girlfriends, and no bored partner to worry about!

It would be a snub to only invite one of you, so presumably if you're good friends it's meant to be for you all. I'd ask her.
