Child on mother's knee

Was a bit early for a community visit for work so parked in a layby outside a nursery school this afternoon.
Child came out with mum and dad. Dad opened his door, two door car and motioned for child to get in the back. She didn't instead she walked round to mums door, mum openned it and child climbed on her lap. They then drove off. They had a child carseat in the back.
What would you do? Ignore or phone 101?

Maybe report the matter to nursery school if you know the name.

Can't believe this. There are some real idiots out there.

Don't know who it was as I was just killing time parking there until my visit.
Just amazed that they could be so stupid!

Total fools by the sounds of things. If you know the name of the nursery then you could give details of when the child left and the car reg or whatever.

I got the car reg almost called the police but didn't know if they would be interested
