Sorry you're not feeling well Cumberlover

to cheer you up Grin
Cumberlover76 · 04/02/2014 15:48

I was just coming on to post that link too. Awww he's so lovely and should also read children's stories (as well as aural porn like Casanova). In fact I just want to listen to him talk all the time.

Feeling a bit better but achey and tired so more lounging on the sofa watching Sherlock,

HRHwheezing · 04/02/2014 16:23

Benedict, I have two juicy melons, never mind oranges or apples

Very sweet though. I can show this to my 5 year old

FrankelInFoal · 04/02/2014 17:44

Apparently this evening's Q&A at the Apple Store is being filmed and will be released in a few days. There are a few people (Cumberbatchweb and Sherlockology for example) who are live tweeting from the event.

MelanieRavenswood · 04/02/2014 17:51

cumberlover if you download the MeBooks app, he is on there reading Snowman and the Snowdog. Thankfully I have a three year old who loves the Snowman else I couldn't have justified buying it!

Cumberlover76 · 04/02/2014 19:11

Thanks Melanie I'm sure my two year old loves the Snowman too that's what I'm telling DH

Have been checking out #applelock tweets. Someone called @holmeslocked is tweeting vines (whatever the fuck vines are, I assume vid clips but can't check as DH is in the room and is already exasperated by my Cumberaddiction!)

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 04/02/2014 20:17

Am I the only one who thought the Sesame Street set dressers had matched the curtain in the background to the PSOS? Grin

My god, he looked so squeaky clean in that sketch that I swear I could smell the soap.

LilithSternin · 04/02/2014 20:52

Hello! I have just stumbled against this thread and my goodness do I like it Grin my DD loved the Sesame Street video as did I. Can you imagine how cool his kids (if they ever materialise) will think that is?!?

LilithSternin · 04/02/2014 20:53

Stumbled against this thread?!?!? Crikey... I mean I stumbled ACROSS this thread Blush Can't begin to imagine what distracted me...

Cumberlover76 · 04/02/2014 21:03

Welcome Lilith you will find plenty of distractions Cumberporn on this thread. I hope you enjoy! Sometimes I have to ban myself for a day or two so I actually do my job!

CoolItKittens · 04/02/2014 22:10

Hello all...I'm a new BC fan, only since the latest series of Sherlock! I confess to being one of those people who never really understood the attraction at first but I really get it now! Waiting for DH to go to bed then I can watch the Sesame Street video.

CoolItKittens · 04/02/2014 22:13

And I'll just leave these here

LilithSternin · 04/02/2014 22:22

Look at the veins on that!! Crikey. I didn't see the attraction at first either. I went to see Star Trek when it came out, and was only aware of BC's existence in that all my female friends absolutely drooled over him, but had no idea of what he looked like or even who he was. I was quite taken aback to find out he had played Khan, who I had thought was fabulously evil but distinctly a bit odd-looking! And then I watched Sherlock, and it all went rapidly downhill from there.

FrankelInFoal · 04/02/2014 22:32

Welcome newbies, the more the merrier Grin

BC is definitely an acquired taste, it sneaks up on you and before you know it - bang!

If you've not paid much attention to him before, I recommend you watch Starter For Ten and Hawking to begin with.

FrankelInFoal · 04/02/2014 22:37

Is that some auburn I see peaking through Grin

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 05/02/2014 07:13

A short report from the Apple store event

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 05/02/2014 07:17

This blog entry is both "Wahoo!" and "oh, shit" at the same time.

LetUsPrey · 05/02/2014 07:59

Lots of newbies and lots of lovely links!

Morning

OP posts:
Cumberlover76 · 05/02/2014 08:20

I now have a full blown obsession for the man and find him most sexy being himself, Sherlock or Khan (hot, buff, bad ass and with a swishy coat!) In real life he comes across as such an adorably sweet and nice man.

I'd really recommended Parade's End, because of a couple of good sex scenes as its a great story and well acted. Its available on iPlayer free on Virgin, not sure about other providers.

He's a fantastic actor so anything he's in is worth watching if you ask me!

Cumberlover76 · 05/02/2014 08:52

BTW, nice link Kittens Wink, mmmm would love to run my hands over that beautiful chest, for the sheet to slip down.......... !

CoolItKittens · 05/02/2014 12:34

I'm off work next week, I kow how I going to be spending some time!

Watched the Sesame Street video this morning, adorable! And his voice when he says "I'm really just an actor"

Lovely

FrankelInFoal · 05/02/2014 12:58

There are so many things you could watch with him in, I just think SFT and Hawking are good starting points (plus bonus Mark Gattis and Rebecca Hall in SFT!).

If you do watch Third Star or Inseperable (a short film), for god's sake have tissues to hand. Plus you know you have a full blown CumberObsession if you watch him as Paul in Atonememt and think "I still would!" Grin

I believe Grin

HRHwheezing · 05/02/2014 13:11

coolkittens Sherlock older series is on alibi on sky atm, so if you have it tape it.
I presume we are all free in February.......

CoolItKittens · 05/02/2014 16:24

Thanks for the heads-up HRH Smile

Inglori0us · 05/02/2014 19:25

Having total mental pregnancy dreams about BC. It's taken me by surprise.
