How do I suspend my account?

Basically, I need to stop anyone posting on my page for a day or so after I have had dc3, there are so many people I would like to tell myself and not have them find out by someone congratulating us on our FB pages, so I need to either suspend the account or stop posters on my timeline until everyone I need to tell knows about it then I can let the rest of FB world know in my own time. How would I do this?

Go to the tiny blue "help" far bottom right of any facebook page
click on that
then click on "manage your acct" - its the second choice on the list, left side of page
Then choose 4th on the list on the next page that comes up - "deactivating, deleting accts"
You can reactivate the same account at any point thereafter.

You can make it so no one can post on your wall too, I did when I'd told some people I was pregnant but not others yet to make sure no one said anything
