Relocating to Lincolnshire??

It is possible that we could be relocating to Lincolnshire at the end of the year - most likely the area around Boston

We don't know the area at all. Can anyone tell us anything about this area?

What is it like to live there?
Are there many things to do with young children? (DD1 is 5, DD2 is 14months)
What are the schools like?
Are there many clubs/activities for children to join?

If the move goes ahead, we want it to be the right thing for all of us. We would welcome any information and/or advice you can give us!

Thank you.

I see this thread is a little old but have only just seen it. My uncle lives in Boston, it's quite nice, have only been there myself twice but he's happy enough. But he is on the outskirts rather than right in the centre.

The rest of Lincolnshire is also lovely. I come from Claypole (tiny village) and its such a nice friendly place.

Nicer than where I am now!Wink

I like Lincolnshire.

Have spent many short breaks in Woodhall Spa, near Lincoln.

Don't know how it is to live there full time though.
