What's your Sanity-Saver?

I just wondered, when it all gets a bit too much and you're feeling overwhelmed, you're in desperate need of a sanity saver, you've finally got the kids packed off to bed and you've found a brief window to regroup.......what do you do? Do you run a relaxing bath, reach for your favorite tipple, or devour a box of chocs like a pig hunts for truffles? Or do you get your other half/relative/friend to mind the kids and get out of the house for a few hours, or even go to the effort of booking a flight/hotel/spa for a few days? Smile Mine's usually a cup of tea and a bourbon biscuit or several Grin but sometimes (today) that just doesn't feel enough so was curious what everyone else does. Thanks Laura

DVD box sets - Nordic detectives preferably

Crime novels

Either of the above with tea/chocolate/ice cream...

And then falling asleep before the mystery is resolved Smile

I have to swim for half an hour once a week. It is the only activity I can do that helps me either completely clear my mind or work through any problems I'm experiencing.
