What's the difference between 'views' and 'visitors'?

Morning all!

Am very new to this blogging lark, and am intrigued about the analysis stats. (I use Wordpress, btw).

my blog

But why would figures for 'views' be different from 'visits'? Surely to view a blog you have to visit?!

Cause hopefully they will stick around and view a few different pages, which will be counted individually.

If me and Tee both looked at your blog today, and we each read all your posts, you will have had 2 visitors but 10 page views.

Ah! Thank you. That's so obvious once you explain it.
