how to delete myself from a facebook group?

I recently friended someone on facebook (last night). Don't know her that well, but would have been rude not to!! (I think).

Anyhow, she has added me to a facebook group that I think she is the administrator (spelling) for. I don't want to be in this group.

Is there a way I can delete my membership (I never even requested to be a member). Or will I need to message her asking her to delete me. Thanks.

I know, I couldn't believe she had added me to a group without me actually requesting it.

I have discovered the little edit sign next to the group, then went into it and got the option to remove myself from it, so I have.

So thanks for reading anyone but I have managed to remove myself from the group now.

Oh good. That's ridiculous though, being able to put people in groups without asking them.
