The Mummy Kindness Manifesto! I'd love your thoughts!

Hello! I'd so love to spread this post far and wide. Dare I say I'm proud of it and I think it could really spread some mummy kindness around. I'd love your thoughts on it!

the mere expression mummy kindness is ghastly,schmaltzy.don't like it
the blog,not my cuppa tea but I don't define myself as mummy.it's not my whole being
as a manifesto,the prose is syrupy.maybe your intentions are kind but the list is awful

i dispute point 13) I will always remember that I am the best mum for MY children, that I know them better than anyone else. I will discount any thoughts or comments that suggest otherwise

sadly not the case,some mums for a myriad of social/medical/psychological reasons are not best for their child.and fact they discount any thoughts or comments that suggest otherwise,well simply makes bad situation worse. Fortunately this is rare and most mums are good enough

You don't define yourself as a mummy and yet, look at your user name, scottishmummy. Sometimes your contradiction in one post is just amazing.

I think its lovely. Nothing wrong with a bit of smaltz and yes, wouldn't it be nice if it really was this simple.

I'm not defined by my mn name,it's pseudonym.I have to say if you think mn names are defining you'll be most aghast when you concretely interpret the swearie or lewd names as being a statement of character

I'm not asking op to moderate,change blog.she can blog whatever.and Internet is so big,the audience so diverse that others will love her blog and praise accordingly

and imo, people blog for response,and impact.which the originator cannot wholly predict or control

Really liked it. And reminded me of things I wished people had done /not done when I was a new mother especially over advice/not judging. Will try to keep remembering this month as lots of my friends are having their first babies!

I am not a fond of 'mummyblogs' and have made no secret of this fact, and to be very honest the blog post is not really my cup of tea. I am sure that many will enjoy it, as it is quite sweet.
