here

Been shared a good trillion times on Facebook, lovely and all that but is it just me who thinks it goes on a bit?

It was long-but it was saved by the choir and change of pace at the end! And very sweet

flowery · 10/01/2013 12:54

Yes it's just you.

Grin

It's probably because you don't know all the people. I imagine for the guests and family etc who knew the people he was thanking it was fine.

My DH did something similar for our wedding, except he played some wonderful Chopin rather than singing.

mynameis · 10/01/2013 12:55

Grin I blame the PMT and the fact dd2 keeps putting it on YouTube

OP posts:
flowery · 10/01/2013 13:02

I imagine it is seeming long if you keep having to watch it...

Very sweet though, made me feel a bit teary. Blush

cookielove · 10/01/2013 13:18

Ahh that is sweet!!

shopafrolic · 12/01/2013 21:27

I thought it was really sweet and very heartfelt. I wonder how Harry topped it at his wedding though......

pictish · 12/01/2013 21:28

I'm with you OP - I watched about a minute and a half before I switched him off, feeling like he needed a good slap.

readyforno2 · 12/01/2013 21:30

I thought it was a bit of a cop out to be honest..

pictish · 12/01/2013 21:30

Oh my god - I just realised that he goes on for fifteen minutes!!
No need!

OnlyWantsOne · 12/01/2013 21:31

I cried :(

AppleOgies · 12/01/2013 21:32

I thought it was lovely!

pictish · 12/01/2013 21:32

What an egotist.

LostInWales · 12/01/2013 21:33

I don't even know who he is but it's wonderful [old bird getting tired and emotional emoticon], YY to it going on too long if you aren't family but the joy of youtube is scanning ahead. Left me all a bit teary and sad that I won't be that young and beautiful ever again with a clever young man serenading me .

I may be a bit hormonal

TrazzleMISTLEtoes · 12/01/2013 21:35

Aww my cousin was at his wedding

pictish · 12/01/2013 21:40

Way to turn his wedding into the Tom Fletcher Show though. Nice one Tom.

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 12/01/2013 21:42

I thought it was lovely. We walked back down the aisle to a cover of White Wedding (Billy Idol) which DH recorded the lyrics, guitars, drums etc etc... It was brilliant and I was very proud!

shopafrolic · 12/01/2013 21:46

Did you marry Harry SuzySheep?

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 12/01/2013 21:48

Hahaha nah my DH is much better than him! Wink

shopafrolic · 12/01/2013 21:49
Grin
MikeLitoris · 12/01/2013 21:49

I loved it.

It made me sad that no one will ever sing to me like that Sad

shopafrolic · 12/01/2013 21:51

We could get a MN choir together to sing to you MikeL if it'll make you feel better?

pictish · 12/01/2013 21:51

He wasn't singing to her.
He was singing for 15 minutes so everyone would look at him and tell him how fabulous he is.
Tawdry git. None of that was for her sake.

LostInWales · 12/01/2013 21:53

Aw pictish, such cynicism I have a feeling you are right though

SuzySheepSmellsNice · 12/01/2013 21:55

My DH wrote me a song... Just sayin'...
