I'm a bit of a Grinch and don't care much for Christmas. However I did a shop for me a d toddler DD that will see us trough the next few days.

Now, a colleague invited me to have Christmas dinner with him, his siblings and their kids.

Should I go? Is there any public transport in London on 25th? It threw me right off, I was looking forward to being a hermit.

Up to you if you go but no public transport on Xmas day.

Personally I don't think you are being a grinch to stay home Smile.

There's no public transport on Xmas day.

Do you want to go?

The food will keep, but I don't think there will be any public transport on Christmas Day. Could you afford a cab?

Hmmm, not really but I feel I should. He's getting divorced and clearly looking to have some people around him. Plus I feel a cow for not wanting since they invited me and that's very appreciated.

No, can't do a cab, it'd be £££££s on a Christmas Day. Plus we don't have a car seat as I don't have a car.
