Charitable gifts at Christmas

I've no idea where to put this question to you wonderful mumsnetters but hopefully someone will be able to help me here.
I was looking for some kind of friendship bracelet for three of my friends for Christmas but then whilst googling I thought it would be a nice idea to get them a charitable gift instead, saw all the usual things like 'give a chicken' or 'feed a family for a week' and I love that idea but would like something that they can be given and always reminded about the gift.
Does anyone know of any charities where I can buy a gift but also get some kind of keepsake to give to my friends too? TIA

I really don't like the charitable gifts, if you want to donate to charity, great but really it has nothing to do with the friend. Maybe it's just me though. I mean give me a gift or not but the charity gift says, I was going to give you a gift but I spent the money on charity x instead! Are you choosing a charity that is close to their hearts or your favourite charity? Maybe this isn't helpful to you! How about one of the charities that sell jewellery so you know part of the money will be a charity donation. That would appeal to me better. Some of them do friendship bracelets. The royal British legion had a designer making friendship bracelets for them or beautiful poppy brooches.

Thanks ill have a look at royal British legion, I was thinking some kind of dementia charity as three of us have relatives with dementia. That's the kind of thing I was thinking with the jewellery though
