Very worrying friendship

I've had concerns for a little while now about a good friend of Ds's because he is possessive and sulky. I worry that he tries to stop ds playing with other kids. So far we've not acted on this and actually they get together at weekends quite regularly. Ds always seems happy but has complained occasionally that friend's upset him.

Recently, the following things have happened:
A homemade card COVERED in 'I love you yamyoidboy' and 'I love you so much it hurts'.
Head butted ds, apparently an accident but ds does keep going on about friend being violent, and I know he has a stroppy streak. So maybe it was intentional.
Today ds replied to my question that no he hadn't had a good day at school as friend tried to stop him playing with others.
The icing on the cake is that I found a picture in Ds's bag tonight by friend, again saying 'yamyoidboy I love you' then, like this, 'yamyoidboys deth' .
It made my blood run cold.

Dh thanks I shouldn't blow it out of proportion, they're only five and it's because of tv and computer games. I think we should have a tactful word with the teacher because I'm quite worried now. Would I look like a neurotic mother if I mention it to teacher? WWYD?

He's obviously a serial killer!
No tbh it does sound a little odd, can you have a word with the teacher?

Yamyoid · 26/11/2012 20:48

I think that's a good idea but dh thinks not.

The main thing is that your ds is not happy, so for that reason I would mention it.

er why can't you mention it to his parents?
