Frames around blog photos

I've recently started a blog using blogger, but I've noticed every other blog I read seems to have to same frame around the photos. It's a white frame with a little bit of shadow around it. It does seem to make the photo pop, does anyone know how to do it, I can't figure it out?

It's more likely to be the layout rather than any image settings (I'm not sure there is one for images tbh). Either that or people are editing their pictures in picmonkey first then uploading them OR they are using their instagram photos.
