Hello lovelies!

Hope the title meets with everyone's approval.

I have just one thing to say at the moment, a propos of the John Finnemore thing in the last thread: 'pub kitten'? 'pub kitten'?!!? Just how cute does that sound?

Wreckers is a very very good film. I recommend it. and BC looks amazing in - one of my favourite looks

Saw the "Neverwhere" thing on Tumblr Grin

holmessweetholmes · 01/12/2012 07:38

Am excited about Neverwhere because I love Neil Gaiman's books. With a cast like that though, surely you need them on screen, not just on the radio. Delicious as BC's voice is, I'm sure we'd rather have him in the flesh. As it were.

Frankelstein · 01/12/2012 09:29

As WAYWB said on Tumblr about the Neverwhere promotional photo:

"ohshitohshitohshititisbuffyandsherlockinonephotoohshitohshitohshitwhatisyourbagbenedict?"

Can you imagine walking into a Cabin Pressure recording and not only are BC and the regular cast there, but there's ASH as well? Being supersmooth?

I've just put all the CP episodes on to DS1's Kindle Fire. He's very happyGrin

And I've put four episodes of John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme on to my iPod. I can listen to an episode per journey home next week. Something to look forward to.

holmessweetholmes · 01/12/2012 13:20

Was that the recent John Finnemore thing on R4?I have only ever heard snippets of Cabin Pressure, but would like to hear more. I caught one bit of the recent thing and it was pants-wettingly hilarious, particularly the 'Thank you Captain Dinosaur' song. I still get it stuck in my head occasionally!

holmessweetholmes · 01/12/2012 13:24

And yes indeed to the buffyandsherlick comment! Oops - was about to correct my 'Sherlick' typo, but actually it is rather appropriate.

LetUsPrey · 01/12/2012 13:31

holmessweetholmes - I got John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme series one off a link on Tumblr. I've just checked audiogo.com/uk and they've got all four episodes of series two for £1.24 each. Early Christmas present for me!

I bought all the CP recordings from audiogo.com/uk too. I think they're on iTunes too.

holmessweetholmes · 01/12/2012 14:06

Ooh fab, thanjs LetUsPrey - will check that out! And must get hold of Wreckers. I can't just watch Sherlock endlessly on a loop. Well, I can, but a little variation would probably be good. Dh does tend to roll his eyes when BC things seem to appear on our Lovefilm list, especially as I never bother adding to the list unless it has BC in!

Frankelstein · 01/12/2012 15:04

Is it wrong that, whilst in Asda earlier this afternoon, I let out a loud small shriek on spotting a bottle of Talisker? [bgrin] it's on offer too!

holmessweetholmes · 01/12/2012 17:51

I suddenly remembered from the first thread. Thought it was worth re-visiting.

LetUsPrey · 02/12/2012 17:26

Ph-woar Xmas Grin

I shall provide some links later. DH is wandering about at the moment.

holmessweetholmes · 02/12/2012 17:55

More links? I seem to manage to wean myself off this thread for a while, but then succumb once more to the cumberfrenzy. Maybe it's hormonal.

LetUsPrey · 02/12/2012 18:06

Cabin Pressure recording from Tumblr

Yum

And more yum

Hahahaha

holmessweetholmes · 02/12/2012 19:57

Ooh, yum indeed. Another thing I was thinking of re-visiting was that simply filthily-voiced Jaguar ad. You know, the one where he really does not sound as though he is talking about a car at all. I often wondered if the ad people actually asked him to make it as frankly pornographic-sounding as he did. I was very jealous of my friend, who works for Jaguar, being paid to watch promo videos featuring BC. Not fair!

LetUsPrey · 02/12/2012 20:38

More CP stuff A giggling BC?

. You know, just accidentally. Xmas Grin
holmessweetholmes · 02/12/2012 21:22

Mmm yes, that's the one.

Frankelstein · 03/12/2012 21:43
Xmas Grin
holmessweetholmes · 03/12/2012 22:07

Ooh exciting! Someone just posted the first promo poster for Star Trek on Facebook. Featuring.... BC. In a long swishy coat. Squeeee! Will try to find a link.

Frankelstein · 03/12/2012 22:26

This one?

I love me a man in a swishy coat Grin

LetUsPrey · 03/12/2012 23:41

More CP stuff. No spoilers but lots of detail

BC at the airport

Proper bonkers stuff - BC arriving in Japan

Closer-up image of poster Xmas Grin

holmessweetholmes · 04/12/2012 07:49

Dear Lord. That coat. The swishiness. And there's a whole villainous master-of-all-he-surveys thing going on there. Can't wait until May!

Frankelstein · 04/12/2012 08:03

Oh he can be master of anything he wants Xmas Wink The film comes out 6 days after my birthday, I guess if I can't actually have BC gift-wrapped, the film is the next best thing Xmas Grin

Love that Cabin Pressure link Prey, I'm so disappointed that I haven't got tickets Xmas Sad

Frankelstein · 04/12/2012 08:09

So smooth!!

Frankelstein · 04/12/2012 08:12

Me again! Hobbit reviews are now emerging and apparently we get a bit of Necromancer Xmas Grin

LetUsPrey · 04/12/2012 08:17

Good grief, that photo! That's set me up nicely for the day Xmas Grin

You know, I'm sure DS1 would love to see The Hobbit.
