Hello lovelies!

Hope the title meets with everyone's approval.

I have just one thing to say at the moment, a propos of the John Finnemore thing in the last thread: 'pub kitten'? 'pub kitten'?!!? Just how cute does that sound?

Prey, not seen TTSS Shock

All the reason you need

FrankelDeBeauvoir · 08/11/2012 22:33

Did you get round to watching Atonement?

LetUsPrey · 08/11/2012 22:40

I'm waiting for TTSS to be on Sky. It was on Sky Box Office ages ago and I've had it on an email notification with Sky for when it's going to be on (that doesn't make much sense but hopefully you'll know what I mean!) and I haven't had any emails from them about it. Never got round to watching Atonement either. I have so much to look forward toWink

Love those photos. I like to think that in the first one he's looking over and planning exactly what's going to happen laterGrin and in the second one I can just hear him saying "bite it". Wrong wrong wrong, but oh so right Grin

LetUsPrey · 09/11/2012 19:22

FrankelDeBeauvoir · 09/11/2012 23:34

He is also linked to the forthcoming Python film

LetUsPrey · 10/11/2012 11:41

Had seen the Python link. The Assange thing had only been rumours up to now but that seems to have confirmed doesn't it? Here's another article

Love this! Grin

FrankelDeBeauvoir · 13/11/2012 11:35

I had to share this with you all:

I was just looking through the office copy of The Daily Telegraph when I stumbled across a full page advert for "Patek Philippe" watches Grin
I genuinely and did "the voice". It's cheered me up no end!

I may have to Tweet John Finnemore Grin

LetUsPrey · 13/11/2012 18:16

On the subject of Cabin Pressure related products, M&S have some knickers with polar bears on them. This may be TMI but I am currently sporting a pair of undies featuring Le Bear Polar Grin.

They're also in tribute to the song Polar Bear by King CharlesGrin

Prey, that's at least one way to get him in your pants...

Sorry for being gone for so long; RL got in the way. DS1 had some trouble getting used to school (rules! What a concept!), then we all had the tummy bug that's going round, etc.

Can I just say that it was CRUEL to watch TV last night? DH was watching some pseudo-science show about physics, and just as he was about to turn off the tube at 11:30, "Hawking" came on. I actually squealed and started dancing next to the bed while saying "ooh, ooh, ooh". DH came running out of the bath because he thought something was wrong. Whoops.

For anyone who's ever stepped on one of those confounded Legos barefoot...while being distracted by Benedict.

But still, squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

By coincidence, I listened to St Petersburg on the way home tonightGrin

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 14/11/2012 20:44

[to be said in the best Arthur Shappey voice possible] Hooray!

That's wonderful news about CP -- esp. that all the actors are returning. Although I am sad that I won't be able to even try to get tickets, at least I'll be able to get my hands on the recordings...soon...I hope.... Does anyone remember how long they need between the last broadcast and publication?

Thanks, Prey, yes, things are calming down. Everyone over here just needs to calm the hell down and realize that six year old boys don't like to sit still, hate to follow directions and mouth off occasionally. I believe the British expression is "Calm your tits"? If that's true, then I'd like to order everyone (myself included) a big portion of calmed tits.

And if anyone needs a Benedict related laugh, go check out how much the German Amazon site wants for a copy of "Hawking". If I had that kind of money lying around, I'd fly to London and demand a live performance of it. Especially the bathtub scenes. Maybe ONLY the bathtub scenes. And only if I get to hold (or withhold) his towel. Grin

LetUsPrey · 14/11/2012 20:55

Last time I checked Amazon here Hawking was £100.

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 14/11/2012 20:56

?498.89 new, or used for ?471.76.

I mean, I loved the film. But almost 500 Euros?

LetUsPrey · 14/11/2012 20:59

I've just looked on Amazon. £250 new, £120 used. Don't think so.
