I have just one thing to say at the moment, a propos of the John Finnemore thing in the last thread: 'pub kitten'? 'pub kitten'?!!? Just how cute does that sound?

I'm sort of back but still a bit bleuuurrrggghhh. Hopefully, the stressful start to the year in our house and families is over for January and things will settle. However, if the rest of 2013 is going to be like this, I'd just like to fast forward to 2014 - pausing for a few days in May to watch Star Trek.

On a saucier note, had an interesting snippet of a dream this morning. BC was there, so was I. I was kneeling down. It was very vivid.

The audio is a tad quiet (I listened to it while driving to work today, having put it on my phone, but had to drive with the speaker next to my ear, I am SO lucky I didn't get pulled over -- Germany has a strict hands-free mobile-in-car use policy...).

You can sign up and pay to avoid ads, but they don't bother me and I'm the world's biggest cheapskate. Free Batch files make up for it. Sums it up I think

For my birthday I received a gift certificate to Amazon ("for hours of Cumberbatch-able fun" read the card, my friend knows me well) so I bought a copy of "Fortysomething" and TTEE. The latter hasn't arrived yet, so this morning I started with Fortysomething. He's SO YOUNG in the role! And I caught myself yellin at the TV, "How the hell can you f* his brother when you could have Benedict, you moron!!" Good thing no one else was home at the time.

My god, what I wouldn't do to be on the receiving end of one of these smiles...
