Too old at 45 for bridesmaid / matron of honour

DSis has asked me to be one of her bridesmaids, I am really pleased to be asked but at 45 am 10 years older than her and the other 3 bridesmaids. I could be matron of honour although two of the other bridesmaids are also married. It is a civil ceremony and we talked about me being a witness instead if I felt at all uncomfortable about being a bridesmaid.

I am flattered to be asked but am not sure if she is just trying to do the right thing, DD will be a flower girl and DS a page boy so I really don't feel that she needs to include me as well. What would you do?

Whatever you are comfortable with? I wouldn't be myself.... The fact you are asking You must have serious doubts... Be a witness instead and enjoy your sisters wedding ;-)
