Wordpress help - paragraph gaps?

GolfOscarLimaDelta · 10/09/2012 18:41

I'm still a blogging novice.

It's still confusing me but I'm persevering as it's cathartic.

However...

I've written a post today and the gaps that I'd left between the paragraphs have not appeared on the final post. I've tried changing it several times but it's still squashed in some parts.

Is this a theme issue? Or am I missing something very obvious?

This happened to me yesterday - only in one place- and it was very irrritating and no idea why! Wordpress glitch?!

Try highlighting all the affected text and then look at the two rows of little icons above your text. There's a box on the left that says what style you're input it in - there's a drop down menu if you click on it - you want to make sure it says "paragraph". Fingers crossed!

oh, I have had this - very annoying. The only way I could find to fix it was to go into HTML mode

At the top of the text entry box, you can change from Visual to HTML by clicking on the HTML tab.

Then put your paragraphs in.

It is a bit tricky, but it should work.

Yep, I second MmeLindor. Click on html tab at top of post box. Add paragraphs spaces using 'enter' button as susual. I have been having the same problem, must be a glitch in wordpress at the moment.

Thanks!

Off to sort it out. Glad it wasn't just me missing the obvious :)
