My little one is 2 in couple of months and am struggling to think of something to get her. Too many teddies already, no room for big bulky stuff, etc. Need advice or voice of experience 'cough' :)

Micro scooter?? It's not too big or bulky.

Things my Dd's got for birthday or Christmas at 2yo are

Brio train set (but not actual brio, Tesco and ikea do good stuff that is the same)
Duplo
Car mat and cars
Doll and cot/buggy
Toy kitchen
Keyboard and drumkit.
Playdoh

All of these things still get used all the time by both my girls and the eldest is 4.5. I like toys they get years of use out of!

My dd is 2 in Oct, so far she's got a magnadoodle, doctors set, a scooter & a pirate ship. All 2nd hand or reduced. To be honest she's got way to many toys already coz I pick up a lot of stuff in the charity shops or bootsales, but I can't resist a bargin.

Oh the one last thing I need to get is Pop Up pirate game, my DN has one & dd is obessed with it!

Oh or a balance bike, my eldest got hers when she was 2, it was brill and she learnt to ride her proper bike in a day no stabilisers required.

Or a farm set with animals. We had the nice wooden one from elc which got totally destroyed within about 6 months but they still love the plastic animals!

DS is going to be 2 soon. He's getting a Happyland School + children, a MegaSketcher, and a sand and water play table. He'll also get some felt pens and a couple of books I think.

Dd3 is getting an easel. Maybe some happyland too

DD loves her aquadoodle, it's a nice size when laid out so lots of area to draw on but folds away to almost nothing, and as it is just water there is no mess. Scuttlebugs are good too, they fold down quite small. Her absolute favorite thing was a tea set in a picnic basket. It is quite small and very cute.

How about a story sack? You can buy them here:

Or make your own based on a favourite book (much more fun Grin).
