I think that you can, because you can treat the facebook address as an email address - [email protected] .
You do need to know the username for that though.

No, everyone has an individual facebook username, there are lots of people with the same name. You see a persons username in the address bar when you are on their profile page, but you do need to be registered for that.

On the other had, registering for facebook is very easy, and you dont have to use if after if you dont want to.

Create a free email address through Google + sign up using that ,you can unsubscribe afterwards.

The Google account is useful to use whenever you're asked for an an email address + you don't want to give out your "proper " one !
