Hello I've just joined the bloggers

Hello strawberrypenguin and welcome aboard! Your blog looks lovely and your little boy has the most gorgeous smile! I like the layout and the colour scheme - simple and soft and relaxing to read.

How about expanding the "about" page a bit and explaining there what the craniothingy is for those of us (i.e. just about all of us!) who are unfamiliar with it? When your blog's a bit older and has lots of posts, your initial explanation in the first post will be a bit buried.

I'd also get rid of that Meta stuff in your sidebar too - Wordpress puts it in by default, but I'm sure there are far more interesting and useful things you could put in there, such as a blogroll (list of other blogs you like/follow), a means of contacting you (could just be a contact form via Wordpress if you don't want to give out personal details) or maybe some links to sites useful to other parents dealing with the same health issues. Looking forward to see your cute boy grow! I love the post about the things he took for a walk round the house - it's a lovely age he's at now!

Good morning ladies, just wanted to comment to say welcome to Strawberrypenguin and to thanks YoungDebbie for the reply. I have also just started blogging, and only signed up for mumsnet yesterday (which is in fact more daunting than blogging as I am actually a dad and feeling very outnumbered)
Please can I ask, as you both use wordpress, once I have published my blog on there, do I need to actually do anything on the mumsnet site or will it be linked automatically now i have signed up?
1000's of other questions in the future I'm sure, off now to read your blogs, oh yes mine is consultingeeyore.wordpress.com/

Thanks for taking the time to look and give advice youngdebbie I really appreciate it, I've updated by 'about' and will change the Meta stuff next time im on the laptop rather than iPad. It seems so simple but I'd never have thought of it, thanks. Love the layout of your blog btw it's beautiful.
