Facebook page?

Does anyone have experience of setting up a FB page to support your blog? I need to keep it separate from my RL FB profile tho. Any tips would be very gratefully accepted. Thanks.

I created a page for a charity event I did... it was very easy. It was linked to my RL account, but I don't know if that link was visible, IYSWIM. I think it should be possible not to 'show' that link.
