Supermarket Saver Challenge

This Saturday I am setting myself a challenge to buy only own brand goods at the supermarket and to see how much money I save and if these products are actually as good as the "brands".

Enjoyed the blog, Hertfordshire Mummy. We're definitely an own brand family most of the time (although Ketchup/brown sauce are another matter) and am often shocked by the cost of many brand names (particularly cereal, which we get through by the bucket load).

I like the way you cite other bloggers on your site - something I am hoping to incorporate into my blogs a bit more.
