London one, 1 hour journey max on average day, but appointment is on first day of the Olympics

or

Peterborough office, 1 and a half hours up the A1.

Bearing in mind I have to wait four hours after appointment for passport to be ready.

Definitely Peterborough, I wouldn't be heading into London on the first day of the Olympics for anything

Depends on the weather but the cathedral is well worth a look, shops not bad an also riverside walks.
