Can you add a second blog to the network?

Just curious really, DP and I are working on a food blog and I have my everyday blog on the network already so it'd be nice to add my food blog when we get it going!

Interesting one that as I have 2 blogs as well and only one on here - I've never asked.

Yes, that's absolutely fine, especially since the two blogs have different subject areas. The more the merrier!

And just in case this has confused bloggers who joined a while ago, and were sure you couldn't have two blogs: you're not going loopy!

Initially we only allowed one blog per author; it's clear, though, that plenty of prolific writers have a different blog for each of their areas of interest, so we've relaxed the rule.

Ooh goody, have just launched Westminster Blog at 10:30 am this morning and its already had 18 visitors just through social marketing (did a joint website, facebook, twitter launch - now that was exciting!), so will be asking Kate to add it to the list!

I think you need six posts on it first Bex? Or some other number of posts, I can never remember.

DP and I haven't managed one post on our food blog yet as he's finding the recipe instructions I've written confusing

confusedpixie - thanks..you know think you are right on that one - only have 2 posts on it at the moment - oops! - mind you it took about 4 days to get the first blog included in the register so am thinking by the weekend I will probably have six posts anyway! whats your food blog about? or is it confidential till launch? I am setting up a football blog for my DP who is a complete blogging newbie - will keep him busy and out of my hair !

Not confidential, just a bog standard foodie blog really. Vegetarian cooking from a young adult never cooked anything but microwave meals before living with me meaties perspective. DP had to give up meat when he first moved in with me as we were living with vegans, now he can eat meat if he wants but prefers not too.

Generally it's us trying to share cooking cheats for people who are just starting to cook for themselves, nice vegetarian food which satisfies the biggest meat eater and isn't just quorn and trying to cram more veg into our diet.

Yumm sounds good CP! You were dead right about having to have 6 posts before they will accept - they confirmed it in writing to me yesterday but sounded interested in it. My two blogs are about losing weight last year www.howilostweight.co.uk and holding politicians to account - www.westminsterblog.co.uk.
