DH's job is probably going to be made redundant in a few months. If that happens and he can't find something else, which is a distinct possibility, we are a bit stuffed with our mortgage. We have talked about selling the house, which would give us some money to buy somewhere else with, possibly without needing a mortgage.
He likes our house, and would like something else with period features, maybe more space, but we'd have to move out of London, probably somewhere with far fewer jobs. I feel like we'd have a better chance trying to stay where we can work in London (I have a part time job here), and sacrificing space by moving to a less nice area (there are several near here!) and having a smaller place. We have one DC, and are trying for another but it's been a long time and so may not happen at all. What would you do?
