i've just started blogging last week and am loving it. Already a member of Mumsnet Ive just found the blogging forums so I've registered my blog to be listed.
IF you're interested my blog is mumtoteens.wordpress.com/.
As a mum to two teens and a toddler my life is pretty much chaos, and i've found that the terrible teens are so much worse than the terrible two's. And so much harder to navigate.
I'll share my success stories, my mistakes and honestly tell you what it's like to parent teenagers today.

It can be hard, but it's not all bad!

I LOVE your blog, even as it frightens the bloody life out of me. My DC are pre-teens and I have all this to come.

Will be following you (you are not on Twitter, are you?)

borninastorm · 04/07/2012 14:05

Thank you mmelindor. Sorry I've scared you!
I'm not on twitter yet but I may set up an account to go with my blog. Do you think it'll b useful?

Twitter is great for getting readers. I would definitely recommended it. If you look on my profile, there is a link to my blog where I explain a bit about twitter and how to use it to publicise your blog.

Bex66 · 05/07/2012 13:49

MmeLindor - thanks for that - I have got a twitter account which is linked to my blog but am ready to take the next step in publicising it - it currently only has about 300 visits a week - so have bookmarked your blog for this!

Welliwooster · 05/07/2012 19:51

Hi - I have just started blogging too, and to be honest, I haven't got a clue what I am doing. I have a blog (mysnakesandladders.blogspot.co.uk) but I am not sure how to publish it... I have joined a couple of blogging sites, but could still do with some advice. I have twitter, but not sure where that comes into really, so I will defiantly look at Mmelindors blog, as well as the others that are on this thread x

Welliwooster · 05/07/2012 19:58

Bex66 - Sorry I don't really know the correct etiqette with blogging yet so sorry if I shouldn't be asking this here, but I am interested in reading your blog too but can't see the add...

Bex66 · 05/07/2012 20:45

Welliwooster - its the How I Lost Weight blog by Becky- listed under H in the mumsnet register or if you just put weight loss into the blog register search engine you will find it also - I set my blog up on Wordpress and have my own domain and hosting - costs a bit more (around £40 for six months) but you also have a bit more control.

Am steeling myself to read your blog - my daughter is 9 and has always been lovely, but a friend of mine who is mum to two teenage boys and two pre-teen girls told me recently "girls are heaven until eleven" - so I guess I have two years left before all hell lets loose! I'm at www.youngbyname.me and some of my posts pay tribute to my lovely daughter - but that all may change in 2014!!!

Or you could just wait until she brings out the book she's writing on it Grin

rhondawarren · 11/07/2012 10:30

Nice blog! You did great. :)

borninastorm · 11/07/2012 12:42

Thank you everybody for rreading my blog and I've now signed up to twitter. You can find me on twitter as @Mumtoteens.
Despite resisting it for years I am actually really enjoying blogging as a lot of what I'm writing about has been ongoing for a couple of years with teenboy and it's been weighing me down.

I feel so much lighter already just because I've got some of it out of me.
