Mumsnet Bloggers Network is one. To celebrate our first birthday we're asking Mumsnetters, bloggers et al. to share your ideas with us. Post on this thread and you could win one of our great spot prizes, including a set of five novels, £50 worth of clothes, Hallmark interactive learning toys or a trolley dolly.

Just answer this question: If you could read a blog about ANYTHING, no matter how mad, what would you want it to be?

Look forward to reading your weird & wonderful suggestions Wink

UPDATE: THIS COMPETITION NOW CLOSED. THANKS

I would like to read an eccentric's blog, such as the Bearded Lady of Guildford's.
How do they see the world? Do they know how other people see them? Do they care?

I find myself drawn to the blogs on here which are written by talented people who can do things I can't - like crafts.

In the past I have also been drawn to anonymous job blogs - there was one written by a policeman which was fascinating. Belle De Jour was good. And there was one written by a London Underground worker that I was addicted to for ages.

Because I'm really in to her books at the moment, along with half the population ha, I would like to read a blog about E L James, after her success of the fifty shades of grey books. I'm a very big fan an like loads of other woman, i will feel lost when I finally finish them. Grey withdrawals Smile

As it could be about anything, I'd like a blog written by people living in the same house through different periods of time - 1900/1910/1920 right up to present day. Being insanely nosey, I would want details of basics like cost of bread/shoes etc and how often things were replaced/repaired. Then I'd be after the day to day goings on of the family and how outside events affected them. Oh man, someone should do this! Anyone perfected their time machine yet? No..? :)

I like blogs that make me laugh -it doesn't have to be special just peoples everyday lives.

I think that a royal blog would be pretty good to read. Maybe Prince Harry? I can see it now..... "spending Christmas with Grandma & Grandad this year, I wonder if Grandad will let someone else carve the turkey? He almost lost a finger last time. I hope Grandma doesn't start on the sherry before the queen's speech - everyone else only had to hear it once a year, I don't fancy hearing it 50 times before Church."

I would like to read a blog about someone's family days out/holidays,etc. Where someone would write about where they had been, what was good about it, where the hidden good bits are, what to avoid. Interesting information like what their children liked, how they interpreted what they saw, etc would make fun reading and could provide an insight and suggestions for other families looking for things to do.
