Tom Cruise's blog Grin

porridgelover · 03/07/2012 14:58

I would love to read a clog about someone who has gone through a crap time, abusive husband, horrible family, poverty, hunger but after a lottery win overcomes all obstacles in life, meeting a lovely man and living happily ever after.
Perhaps I should trademark that so that D1sney dont make a film about it Grin

porridgelover · 03/07/2012 14:58

Oh dear God, clearly I meant that I would read a blog

(must proofread)

ChoccyJules · 03/07/2012 15:16

The Prime Minister, The US President, The Russian President & The Chinese Leader, all from the same 24 hours.

See who they think is running the world!

SaliFourth · 03/07/2012 15:22

A house renovation blog would be interesting - the research and decisions made about what to have done to your house, choosing windows, tiles, carpets etc. I need inspiration! (hoping some of you might have suggestions - trying to choose kitchen tiles atm).

I'd love to know the innermost thoughts of the Prime Minister as he journalled at the end of each day and see how that differed from his public spin What does he really think of Frau Merkel, President Obama etc

Tee2072 · 03/07/2012 15:26

I would love an honest blog from a politician. Not what his spin doctors say he should write, but what he really thinks about the PM, the other MPs etc.

Would never happen, though.

KnittingNovice · 03/07/2012 15:28

I love crafty blogs, seeing what everyone else can make and inspiring me to try something new. Cookery blogs are good too. They have inspired m this week to make meringues for tea (twice Blush)

likelucklove · 03/07/2012 16:29

I would like a blog for ginger people Grin Whats the best hair care, make-up and clothing products. I often find make-up a nightmare and can no longer find any good hair products!

dobby2001 · 03/07/2012 16:39

I love reading about other people's lives, and how they are enriching them or their childrens with small dees, for example little simple ideas to make fantastic crafty stuff , or recently I read about a woman as unfit as me (no really!) who was training for her first triathlon!

overmydeadbody · 03/07/2012 17:01

I would love to follow a blog written by a woman learning about car mechanics, DIY, plumbing and simple electrical stuff, she would write up tutorials for other people to follow, blogging about her discoveries, her accomplishments, things she has learnt, things she has achieved. Then I could learn through her instead of enrolling on a scary 'car maintenance for beginners' course or something.

She would get the balance of geeky and girlie just right too. And regularly blog about beautiful cars she has spotted and photographed, and then go on to talk about pretty things like fabric and flowers.

lisad123 · 03/07/2012 17:06

A blog about life in prison and why killers do what they do. Blush

gazzalw · 03/07/2012 17:32

Someone's reading habits!

gazzalw · 03/07/2012 17:34

What about an on-the-beat bobby but not necessarily in a huge city but one in a low key town/locale?

Memoo · 03/07/2012 17:45

I would like to read a blog written by a teenager. It might give me a little more insight into life from my dd1's perspective.

OutrageousFlavourLikeFreesias · 03/07/2012 18:19

A blog written by three (or more if possible) generations of the same family, about experiences they have in common. First date, first kiss, first holiday, best childhood memory, favourite Christmas present, least favourite food...

OR -

A blog by a cat. Sorry. I know. I KNOW. I really do. But I would love it.

Solo · 03/07/2012 18:52

I enjoy craft blogs that include (good) tutorials or chintzy type home life (I know, I know!) because it's so not real life for most of us!

DoodleAlley · 03/07/2012 18:55

A blog by someone living in a very warm sunny seaside location abroad.

Escapism at its best!

DoodleAlley · 03/07/2012 19:05

And for completely whacky I think I'd like an insiders's expose on behind the scenes at santa's workshop. Are the elves really as happy as they seem? Re they given generous annual leave provision and really who signs off the naughty/nice lists...

Cremolafoam · 03/07/2012 19:35

A blog about goat- keeping and cheese- making in the style of Belgian WaffleGrin

InMySpareTime · 03/07/2012 20:23

A blog about the oddest question someone heard that day (from whatever source) and the answer they gave/the actual answer.

Also, a blog by a local gardener about what's actually looking good/needs doing in my microclimate. I'm sick of London based gardening advice, it can be a month out of sync with what's going on in my garden.

Ambersivola · 03/07/2012 20:32

I would like to read a blog from both parties in a Landlord and Tenant contract on the same property in the same time frame.

megabored · 03/07/2012 21:15

How to educate dc. From ideas about bean counting to websites to apps for phones. Please. Graded by age etc.

montmartre · 03/07/2012 21:24

I love reading overheard conversations... I'm so blardy nosy!

mumnosbest · 03/07/2012 21:28

I'd love to read the blog of an old old lady. I used to love talking with my nan. Listen to her musing and reminiscing. She'd see things in such a different light and was always so positive because life wasn't as hard as 'back in the day'. She always had great advice and tips (from how to remove a stain to what to say to an annoying neighbour). unfortunately few of that generation remain and even less could 'blog'.

JimmyMacWhenAreYouComingBack · 03/07/2012 21:28
