Morning all, think I'm the first...

Renaming of The Other Half

Forgot to link to them yesterday but there's also a couple of wedding related posts on there, including a sneak peek of a picture if anyone is remotely interested Wink

As usual, it's a Silent Sunday from me.

awaldorfhome · 24/06/2012 13:32

I've just updated with pictures of our beach-themed summer season table.

SophRunning · 24/06/2012 14:55

Hello everyone. Mine this week is about overhearing a bad joke in John Lewis -- and spoiling other people's fun

FiveHoursSleep · 24/06/2012 15:12

Sophrunning I'd love to be able to reply on your blog but I don't think you spoiled anything. I think you may have made a rather thoughtless young man pause a while before he makes the next stupid remark.

TheWombat · 24/06/2012 15:19

Hello all. Loving all your work, as usual! Here is my latest:

I need a private wee, announces my youngest DSD. Don't we all sometimes? Grin

Who wants to be normal when you can be brilliant?

Finally I have got round to posting another instalment of Astonishing Splashes of Colour

yummymummyreally · 24/06/2012 22:20

I have lost track of what date it is this month! Luckily for me it's because we've been on our hols. (yippee)

I tried to post a little over the holiday fortnight, but saved most of my ideas up for our return. Then discovered that our return would consist of 2 days at home before I was packing for this weekend's London jaunt!

Anyhow; the post I wrote whilst away was a tale that couldn't wait till our return and it is here:
What to do when your child needs the toilet when at the seaside... or not!? (sorry for sharing so late.)

This post is a blog linky which I've called the Summer Bucket (and spade) list. Its a linky for bloggers to write a little list of things they'd like to do this summer. I thought it might be fun and also good to share ideas on keeping the dc amused in the holidays

RecipeJunkie · 25/06/2012 07:21

Baroness of course we're interested... will check it out once the kids are at school and I'm settled down to --browse work.

After weeks of trying, finally made it to the Hampshire Farmers' market in Winchester yesterday. Check out my haul.

RecipeJunkie · 25/06/2012 07:21

I meant browse of course

FiveHoursSleep · 25/06/2012 08:13

I've seen that some of you do quick takes, roundups etc, unsure if these are copy righted and in a thinly veiled attempt to be origional I did my own summary :o www.cakeskidsandotherramblings.blogspot.com

Throwing my dummy out :O

BaronessOrczy · 25/06/2012 18:07

Thanks Recipe Grin

It's so flipping cold I made strawberry and apple crumble for dessert last night.

OP posts:
RecipeJunkie · 25/06/2012 21:37

It must have been a little warmer down here, Baroness. I made honey oaty wholemeal cake with strawberries & mint with my stash from the farmers market (see above)

MattBaines · 25/06/2012 22:10

Hooooo. Monday's post is later than I would like, especially when it has taken all evening to write, which is ridiculous.

Why not pop on over and have a read and see if your bathnights are anything like ours, or if we really do have some sort of wild child.

Water Baby

addictediam looks like the buggy could make a lot of difference. That's really great.

And I'm sorry recipe junkie but surely the announcement that you made Honey Oaty Wholemeal Cake should come with trumpets, or at least a knighthood, it looks amazing.

TheWombat · 25/06/2012 22:34

I wrote about the impending arrival of Juno, our Italian greyhound puppy... http:hipoptimist.wordpress.com

DidYouPackThePassport · 26/06/2012 04:40

I wrote a piece a while ago when I was mired in the dark molasses of my frustrating mood disorder, but didn't hit Publish for fear of seeming self-indulgent. Although I don't suffer for protracted periods like I once did, when the veil descends it's hard to see the positives in anything. Let me know if this strikes a chord with you too - "Some days..."
