So about 3 week ago she got constipation and said she feels like more need to come out.

Doc reception said give wee sample :very mild some things showed and give n over 3 day course antibiotics.
Still symptoms so called back given another 3 day course (told to speak to doctor Monday of course no appt available Monday)
Called 111, that doctor said it sounds more like constipation and gave her lactulose.
Spoke to her actual doctor who ordered a more in depth test. It says no actioned required.

6 days in and today she said she feels she's not straining however... Still feels need to empty bladder.

S apparently no

  • more wee needs to come out.

So sample is clear, constipation has eased but still feels more wee needs to come out when she's gone??

What next?

Nb: no doctor has seen her physically or felt her stomach.

She needs to be seen in person if she’s not voiding her bladder

Do you mean she is entirely unable to urinate? Or do you mean she can urinate bit still feels afterwards that she still needs to go? Those are very different scenarios.

If her urine test results showed a UTI then i would be asking them to retest the urine again if the symptoms are still present. A feeling of still needing to wee after using the toilet and feeling constantly as though you need to wee is are very common symptoms of a UTI or cystitis. If she's also constipated it ultimately would be uncomfortable for her too but should pass.

She needs to be drinking a lot, avoiding things such as spending too long in the bath, wiping front to back after the toilet and never back to front. You don't mention her age but if it is age appropriate then cystitis relief sachets from the pharmacy or supermarket should ease some of the discomfort.

Definitely go back to the doctor but as a short term measure to ease the sensation of needing to wee try regularly washing with Luke warm water. She can just use a sports bottle or similar to spray herself on the loo as often as possible. I had the same issue and I think chafing down there was making me oversensitive, regular washing after every time I used the loo has really helped. If I ever stop doing it I do notice the difference.

@dontgobaconmyheart she's had two sample, one more in the depth all clear.

She's 15.

Empties bladder but silll feels more needs to come but it's tiny drops.

Luckily she's not in pain.
